If the light flashes or the blender does not start, check that the bottle is correctly closed and aligned with the base.
The safety lock prevents the blender from working if it is not properly assembled.
For the 500ml bottle, make sure the marking is approximately aligned with the light/power button when closing.

Do not charge the motor base alone, because the safety lock/contact system needs the blender to be properly assembled.
