Organic
JAS Organic
Certification under Japan's organic agricultural standard, supporting the organic status of our Japanese matcha.
Blendit Quality & Transparency
Our Japanese matcha is certified organic under JAS, USDA Organic and EU Organic standards. We also review supporting quality, testing and food-facility documentation — while keeping confidential supplier information private.
Our approach
Quality claims should be supported by documentation. Blendit reviews certification, laboratory and regulatory records relevant to the matcha we source.
We do not publish supplier names, facility addresses, certificate numbers, registration numbers, QR codes or other identifiers that could reveal our commercial source. Instead, we present the parts of the evidence that matter to customers.
Public summaries are not replacements for the originals. They are intentionally limited to relevant certification, testing and registration information while confidential sourcing details remain private.
Organic certification
Blendit's matcha is certified organic under JAS, USDA Organic and EU Organic standards. Certification documentation is retained on file; supplier-identifying details are not published.
Certification under Japan's organic agricultural standard, supporting the organic status of our Japanese matcha.
Supporting certification documentation covers the applicable USDA Organic standard for our certified organic matcha.
Supporting certification documentation also covers the applicable European Union organic standard.
What the certifications mean
The three certifications relate to organic production and handling requirements in different markets. They do not replace Blendit's own sensory selection for taste, color, aroma, umami and freshness.
Japan's organic standard for eligible agricultural and processed food products. For Blendit, it supports the organic status of the Japanese matcha we source.
The U.S. organic framework sets requirements for how certified organic products are produced, handled and represented in the market.
The European Union organic framework sets production and handling requirements for products marketed as organic within the EU system.
Selected public evidence
Organic certification, laboratory analysis and food-facility registration serve different purposes. We keep them separate so customers can understand what each document actually shows.
Selected results extracted from a Bureau Veritas FEAC Co., Ltd. analysis report dated 10 April 2026. Supplier identity and address are not reproduced.

Public evidence summary created from the original report. “Not Detected” means the analyte was not detected at or above the laboratory's stated quantification threshold for the tested sample.
Documentation reviewed by Blendit shows U.S. FDA food-facility registration evidence relating to a facility in the supply chain.
Registration evidence reviewed by Blendit states that the facility is registered with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration pursuant to applicable U.S. food law and that the registration was verified as effective by Registrar Corp.
*Important: FDA food-facility registration is not FDA approval, endorsement or product certification. The underlying document itself states that the U.S. FDA does not issue or recognize a certificate of registration.
Supplier and facility-identifying details are intentionally omitted from this public summary.
The Blendit standard
Organic certification verifies defined production requirements. Sensory quality is a separate decision — which is why Blendit also considers origin, harvest, aroma, color, umami, bitterness and freshness when selecting matcha.
We review origin and sourcing information relevant to the matcha selected for Blendit.
Organic claims are supported by certification documentation rather than used only as marketing language.
Color, aroma, smoothness, umami and bitterness are considered separately from certification.
Packaging, storage and careful handling remain important after production to protect matcha quality.
More than what is shown online
A matcha supply chain can involve organic certificates, product specifications, laboratory reports, facility-registration evidence and other commercial records.
Publishing every original document would expose confidential supplier information. Blendit's approach is to show customers meaningful evidence while keeping traceable sourcing details protected.
Additional documentation may be shared with qualified wholesale or commercial partners where appropriate and subject to confidentiality.
JAS, USDA Organic and EU Organic supporting documentation retained on file.

Commercially sensitive supplier identifiers remain confidential.
Certification FAQ
Clear answers about what we certify, what we publish and what the supporting evidence means.
Organic certification relates to compliance with applicable organic standards and does not by itself guarantee taste, ceremonial grade or sensory superiority. Laboratory results apply to the sample described in the corresponding report. Food-facility registration is not FDA approval or certification of a product. Blendit retains supporting documentation and intentionally withholds confidential supplier-identifying information from public display.
